The 15th International Halal and Tayyib Products Conference, organized by GIMDES on the online platform, consists of 7 different sessions.
In the first session, the topic of “The Importance of Halal and Tayyib Conditions in Global Halal & the Opportunity for Halal Certification Bodies to Meet at a Common Standard” will be discussed and the speakers are listed below.
– Prof. Dr. Muhamad Nadratuzzaman Hosen, who was the former MUI president in Indonesia, and the current head of the Technology and Information department of The National Board of Zakat Republic of Indonesia; has been a speaker at 8 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
– Mr. Shaigh Thaifer Najjar, who is the head of ICSA Halal certification institution in South Africa and has been a speaker at 3 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
– Mr. Abdul Rahman Linzag, who is chairman of IDCP Halal Certification Authority in the Philippines and has been a speaker at 1 conference hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
In the second session, the subject of “Requirements of Halal Conditions in Cosmetics” will be discussed and the speakers are listed below.
–Mr. M. Mazhar HUSSAINI, who is president of the American Halal Foundation and was the speaker at 8 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years and was the first to initiate Halal certification activities in the USA.
–Mr. Salih BEŞİR, who is pharmacist and MÜSİAD Deputy Chairman of the Health Sector Board and speaker at GIMDES Seminars.
In the third session, the subject of “To What Extent do Margarine-Type Oils and Artificial Meats Meet the Requirements of Being Halal and Tayyib?” will be discussed, and the speakers are listed below.
– Dr. Muhammed YÜCEER, who is lecturer at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and has been a speaker at 2 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
– Prof. Dr. Hassan YETİM, who is Head of Food Engineering Department of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University and has been a speaker at 2 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
– Dr. Hani Mansour Al-Mazeedi, who is CEO and author of the International Halal Awareness Program from Kuwait and has been a speaker at 7 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
In the fourth session, the subject of “Evaluation of GMO Technology in Terms of Halal and Tayyip” will be discussed and the speakers are listed below.
– Mr. Moulana Muhammad Saeed NAVLAKHI, who is the director of SANHA Halal certification institution in South Africa and has been a speaker at 8 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
– Mr. Habib Ghanim, who is the head of ISWA Halal certification institution in the USA and has been a speaker at 1 conference hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
In the fifth session, the subject of “Modern Medicine and Islamic Treatment” will be discussed, and the speakers are listed below.
– Mr. Hilmi Bakır, who is pharmacist and lecturer at Üsküdar University and Istanbul University and author of GİMDES Helal Yaşam Rehberi (Halal Life Guide) magazine.
– Mr. Eyüp Yılmaz, who is specialist doctor and writer.
– Dr. Mustafa Kemal Basarali, who is Vice President of Healthcare Services at Ankara Provincial Health Directorate and has been a speaker at 1 conference hosted by GIMDES in the past.
– Dr Abdel Majid Katme, who is Former President of the Islamic Medical Association in England and has been a speaker at 2 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years; TV/RADIO Broadcaster.
In the sixth session, the subject of ” Benefits of Halal Tourism to the Economy and Social Structure” will be discussed and the speakers are listed below.
– Mr. Zafer Gedikli, who is World Halal Council President, and has been a speaker at 2 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
– Dr. Hüseyin Kâmi Büyüközer, who is the president of GIMDES and Dünya Helal Vakfı (DHV-World Halal Foundation) and has organized the organization of international conferences and made a speech at 12 conferences since 2008.
In the seventh session, the subject of “Condition of Adulteration and Fiqh Provisions in Food and Supply” will be discussed and the speakers are listed below.
– Prof. Dr. Yusuf Ziya Kavakçı, who is a member of the GIMDES Fiqh Board and has been a speaker at 2 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
– Prof. Dr. Mustafa NUTKU, who is Chemistry professor, researcher-author and has been a speaker at 3 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
– Dr. Adel SABIR, who is chairman of the European Halal Development Agency in England and has been a speaker at 8 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
– Dr. Ali Faonus, who is inspector of Halal Control certification institution in Germany and has been speaker at 1 conference hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
– Dr. Bahmed REFFIS, who is a lecturer at Ghardaia University in Algeria and has been a speaker at 4 conferences hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
– Mr. Hussain Yee, who is president of Pertubuhan Al-Khaadem institution in Malaysia and has been a speaker at 1 conference hosted by GIMDES in the past years.
