The Halal Life Events Festival, organized under the auspices of GIMDES and the Dunya Halal Foundation between July 3-6, 2025, was completed with the high satisfaction of the participants.
Within the scope of the festival, basic information about Halal and Haram Foods was given to children within the scope of the Halal Kitchen Children’s Workshops between July 5, 14:00-15:00, parkour games were played and a balloon blowing competition was organized. At the end of the games, gift packages were presented to all children.
Within the scope of the festival, a “Hand Cream Workshop” was organized with GIMDES Chief Inspector Mr. Timuçin Günesen and Chemical Engineer Ms. Zehra Özdemir between July 5, 15:00-16:00. At the end of the workshop, where halal and tayyib critical control points in cosmetic products were explained and hand cream was made, the hand cream made was distributed to the participants and guests who came to the festival area.
Within the scope of the festival, a “Fairy Tale Workshop” was organized for children within the scope of the Halal Kitchen Children’s Workshops on July 6th between 14:00-14:30. The story, which told about Halal World Markets and GIMDES certified products, ended with the satisfaction of the participants. At the end of the story, the “My Little Halal Morsel” booklet from GIMDES publications and chocolate were presented to the children.
Within the scope of the festival, a “Medicinal Tea Workshop” was organized with Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Specialist, Food Engineer Mrs. F. Füsun Menteş between 15:00-16:00 on July 6th. Information was given about medicinal plants, correct harvesting method, correct drying and brewing methods and an application was made. Brewed teas were served to the participants.
