The 17th International Halal and Tayyib Products Conference, organized by GIMDES every year, was successfully held online on July 3-4, 2025.
The conference, attended by experts from all over the world, was broadcast live on GIMDES’s YouTube channel in both Turkish and English. In the two-day program, the concept of halal and tayyib life was discussed in various aspects.

Boycott Until Doomsday! The importance and religious foundations of the conscious boycott carried out with halal sensitivity were discussed.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Yüceer (Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University)
Halal Compliance in the Food and Beverage Sector (Restaurants, Hotels, Catering) Halal compliance processes and inspection systems in the service sector were evaluated.

The Importance of Halal and Tayyib Certification Under a Single Standard Roof – One Voice One Heart The necessity of unity and solidarity in international halal certification systems was explained.

Current Developments in the Application of Digital Technologies in Halal and Tayyib Food Safety Management The impact of digital transformation on halal production in food safety was discussed.

Commercial Ethics and Halal Food Trade: Evaluation in the Context of Price, Ethics and Justice The principles of the halal food economy were evaluated with an ethical perspective on trade.
Pharm. Hilmi Bakır (Üsküdar University)
Halal and Tayyib Principles in Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics and Personal Care Products The increasing importance of halal and tayyib sensitivity in consumer products was explained.
Throughout the conference, the common values of the ummah were reinterpreted in the light of the halal and tayyib understanding of life and scientific, jurisprudential and moral foundations.
With this organization, GIMDES has not only shared information; it has also revealed its goal of creating a life model that acts with the consciousness of the ummah.
We pray to Allah Almighty that the effect of this good work returns to the ummah as benefit, unity and awakening. May Allah (SWT) accept it. Ameen.
